61st arrest under Operation Laser

A 21 year old Birmingham man's become the 61st person to be arrested as part of a major drugs and organised crime crackdown which centered on Rugby.
The man from the Alum Rock area of the city has been charged with money laundering, and is suspected of using his ill-gotten gains to buy several fast cars.
He's been bailed ahead of a court appearance before magistrates in Nuneaton later this month.
The crime crackdown Operation Laser saw several addresses in Rugby given early morning raids last November.
It is the largest policing operation of its kind yet undertaken by Warwickshire Police, and has resulted in prison sentences totalling 160 years for the defendants who appeared before Warwick Crown Court in April and May 2012.
