Lions face 30 point penalty

Rugby Lions have been docked 30 points for the up coming National League Two South season, and could be kicked out of the league altogether.
English Rugby Union's governing body the RFU has imposed the penalty because the club has failed to pay its creditors within a six week deadline.
The financially troubled club could be kicked out of the league altogether if its management fail to prove they can keep the club going and pay their debts during the season ahead.
A deadline of August 20th has been set for that to be done.
The company set up to run the club when owner Mike Aland bought the Lions last summer has already been wound up.
