An elderly Rugby man's been conned out of nearly £30,000.
Over the last year letters had arrived at his home offering large cash prizes for an admin fee which he'd been paying only to get no prize.
Once the 88 year old's family realised what he'd been doing they stopped him sending the money and reported it to the police.
Police are now advising people to be very wary of tempting offers arriving through the post saying if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.
