Much more needs to be done at a privately-run prison near Rugby after an unannounced visit by inpsectors.
They found that almost half of inmates at Rye Hill felt unsafe, but the prison management was praised for a reduction in both assaults and positive drug tests.
Inspectors also found Muslim prisoners felt disadvantaged and their wasn't enough support for foreign prisoners.
