A member of the Police Authority says there will be job losses at the Warwickshire force.
Warwickshire Police Authority have met at Shire Hall to decide the Force's budget for next year.
The overall budget is £90.395 million but they'll have to make savings of £5.7 million after the Government announced a cap on how much Forces could spend.
The Police Federation representing officers in the county have said they'll make a stand against any cuts to officer numbers.
Ian Francis, Chair of Warwickshire Police Authority, said 'All members of the Authority unanimously agreed the budget which we hope will allow Warwickshire Police to continue to deliver the same high level of service in Warwickshire.'
'The Authority recognises that both public and private sector budgets are under significant pressure in the current climate. Warwickshire Police has made great strides in reducing crime and we will continue to support the force in using the money wisely to deliver increased protection next year.'
Police Authority Community Engagement Leader Richard Hobbs said: 'We can't deny there will be job losses, but they'll hopefully be through natural wastage. I don't think it will affect the police officers, you may not see the police officers quite as often, but the police you do see will be more effective.'
