George SummerfieldPolice have confirmed that a body found in Wolston earlier this week IS that of missing pensioner George Summerfield.
The 77 year old local man's body was found in a ditch on the edge of the village almost three weeks after he was reported missing.
A post mortem revealed he died of a heart attack. There are no suspicious circumstances to his death.
His disappearance saw police launch an extensive search of the local area to find him, including bringing in police divers to search the river Avon through Wolston.
Friends and neighbours also set up a Facebook group to help co-ordinate search efforts.
