Two men have been arrested after a car was stopped in Rugby and drugs were found.
Police seized what they believed to be class A and class B drugs, cash and a CS gas canisters, after they stopped a car in Lawford Road.
The car was stopped at around midday on Wednesday (6 March). Officers initially seized substances they believe to be class A drugs, cannabis and a CS gas canister.
A further search of two houses in Rugby led to the seizure of more than 250 wraps of what is believed to be class A drugs, cash and CS spray.
A 27-year-old man from Rugby was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.
A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply and possession of the CS gas.
Both men have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
