I had my new kitchen floor fitted yesterday. They were the fastest fitters I have ever seen! 3:10pm they arrived, by 3:27pm they'd gone! The kitchen floor is beautiful - I've been standing in kitchen pointlessly staring at it like Mr Bean. I'm a happy chap.
We were talking animal cruelty today. Moggie mauler Mary Bale from Coventry yesterday admitted dumping a family's cat in a wheelie bin - but insisted: "I don't know what the fuss is about, it's just a cat." The grey-haired spinster faces a possible RSPCA prosecution after shock CCTV footage showed her scooping up four-year-old tabby Lola 'as a joke'. Tapped! Police are now having to protect her after a facebook campaign raised fears for her safety... It's sickening and I think she should be punished, at least some community service. It's disgusting!
A pet chicken was stoned to death in a 'sick' attack after being stolen from a garden on Fenwick Drive in Rugby. The ten-year-old pet was found dead in an alleyway in Hillmorton, surrounded by a ring of rocks to mark its 'grave'. Horrified owner Maureen Roberts, whose animals have been targeted by trespassers before, said she was desperate for the culprits to be identified.
Heidi got in touch with the show offering Maureen two free hens from her company Heidi's Happy Hens. That's great Heidi... We'll be in touch with Maureen.

SHOWBIZ NEWS...
Josie has won Big Brother - with a massive 77 per cent of the vote. The two week finale sees past housemates, including Nikki Graeme, John McCririck, Makosi, Brian Dowling and Nadia, battle it out to be crowned the ultimate champion.
Shirlena Johnson won't be back on the X Factor. The single mum grabbed the judges attention on Saturday's show with her wacky version of Duffy's Mercy. But executives have now decided she should not continue in the series, in the interests of her welfare.
Susan Boyle is to achieve a lifelong dream when she sings for the Pope next month, in a performance that will be beamed to a billion people. The Britain's Got Talent star will perform three songs in Glasgow in September. Subo has described the honour as 'my greatest dream come true.'
