The Rugby FM news team are very excited today! They have a reason to celebrate this morning, they are one of three nominees in a best newsteam category at this year's IRN News Awards. The prizes will be handed out at a ceremony in London next month. Goodluck Rugby FM newsteam and well done! Have you ever won any award you're really proud of? What is your greatest achievement, or your proudest moment ever?
Daniel - My greatest acheivement has to be in March last year, that Friday afternoon in your bosses office. When he gave me my very own show on Rugby FM after a week of work experience! That has to be one of my greatest moments :) Congrats to the news team from me.
Today's show is dedicated to all the brilliant and very funny children at Paddox Primary School... I went along to read to the kids yesterday and we had so much fun reading! I have never giggled so much, at times I couldn't contain myself to read. Invite me to your school and I will read a chapter of Smell & Bogey and the Magic Carpet!! www.smellandbogey.com
Thank you to Jessica aged 10 - Your book was very amusing and I loved your funny voices! Please could you tell your brother he is a great artist! I really liked your visit and your book made me giggle.
Hello to Megan aged 9, thanks for your great Smell and Bogey ideas!
Also hello to all the dinner ladies at Paddox, they were waving at me yesterday from the kitchen as I drove up - Hello to Vera, Annette, V, Sue, Dawn and Abbie... Great dinner lady names!
