 Our Bargain Basement is your chance to advertise for free! From personal items like toys and games, to household and electrical goods - and whilst we can’t guarantee to broadcast them all, we will play a selection on Friday’s Daytime Show with Louisa.

 All you have to do is call 01926 485685 –  then leave a short message (20 seconds maximum) including your name, location, a brief description of the item, asking price and contact phone number with dialling code.

 An example script is below:

Hi this is John from Redditch, I’ve got a selection of toys, books and board games for sale which would suit children aged 4-8 years of age. They include Junior Monopoly, Twister, Jigsaws and various Children’s Annuals. All are in excellent condition. I am asking for £20 the lot. Please call 01234 567890 that’s 01234 567890.

 TERMS & CONDITIONS

• The Bargain Basement is a ‘Free’ Service from Touch Radio / Rugby FM. By taking part in the buying/selling of personal items as part of the feature you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

• When you buy an item on from the Bargain Basement, you are buying from another listener, who is the seller. You are not buying from Touch Radio / Rugby FM and we accept NO RESPONSIBILITY for the goods or any transaction. We are purely advertising the product and we can only rely on the ‘good will’ description as provided by the Seller.

• To register your details as a seller you must provide your real name, address and contact phone number.

• Touch Radio / Rugby FM reserve the right to reject any item in its sole discretion and make no guarantee that all items registered will be broadcast.

• Sellers – When calling the Bargain Basement Line you will be asked to leave a short description of the item, with an asking price together with your name and contact telephone number. Please note when you leave a message you give permission for the station to broadcast your messages including contact number on air – no addresses will be broadcast.

• Touch Radio / Rugby FM reserves the right to edit all messages left prior to broadcast and makes no guarantee that the item will be transmitted.

• Buyers – If you are interested in any of the items broadcast then you need to contact the buyer direct. To reiterate, Touch Radio / Rugby FM take no responsibility for the transaction, quality of goods etc.

The following items must NOT BE SOLD:

Offensive material, including material that incites racial hatred or promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, national origin, physical ability, sexual orientation or age;

• Obscene material  

• Living animals

• Intoxicating liquor and tobacco and home-made alcoholic beverages;

• Firearms and ammunition

• Stolen goods

• Advertisements

• Items that infringe another party's copyright, patent, trademark, design right, database right, or other intellectual property or other proprietary right (e.g.: pirated software, CDs, videos and DVDs, OEM software and so on).

• Illegal or prescription drugs;

• Offensive weapons, poisons and dangerous substances
   

• The Bargain Basement offers sellers to advertise items on an "as is" basis. Touch Radio /Rugby Fm makes no other representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation: (a) the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement; (b) the information, content, materials or products advertised will be as represented by sellers, available for sale at the time of broadcast, lawful to sell, or that sellers or buyers will perform as promised.

• Because Touch Radio/Rugby FM is not the agent of either seller or buyer, if a dispute arises between one or more participants, each of you release CN Radio (and its employees, representatives and agents) from claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes.
