The Cracker has been all over the town for the past few weeks as Julian Hotchkiss would tell you - he was the poor devil who had to move it every day. So if you spotted a guy in a suit with a six foot cracker under his arm - that was him! Its been a great competition with hundreds of entries from people all over Rugby and every day in the week before Christmas we drew out completed entry forms and gave away some great prizes donated by the shops in Rugby. Julian says 'Rugby really has got it all - going around the shops hiding the Cracker has been great fun and shows just what a great range of high street names and speciality independent traders we have in Rugby! I've done all my christmas shopping here - there's no reason to go anywhere else!'So here's our BIG winner of the £1000, supported by the Rugby Town Centre Company:
On Christmas Eve, Sarah Batchelor was the lucky listener who walked a way with a cheque for a cool £1000 entering our Christmas Cracker Competition. She filled in an entry form in one of the local shops in Rugby town centre.
