Lucky Laney French was the latest winner in another great competition at Rugby FM.

She took part in the grand final at the new Greenfellows Garden Centre on Yelvertoft Road in Crick.  Having battled through a round of tough questions set by Ted The Gardener, she scooped the cash by hunting down the Golden Gnome, hidden in the centre.

She's now looking at Spending the £500 in the garden centre to spruce up her garden!

Barclays Premiership Cup Comes to Rugby
One lucky lad gets to hold the cup on the Breakfast Show.  Every schoolboy's dream and not many people get to hold THE cup.  Rugby FM with Barclays Bank changed that for Matthew from Riverside Primary School in Rugby, who was VERY excited not only to see it but to actually hold it - just like his sporting heroes have done when they won it and paraded around Wembley with it!
Here's Mathew with Lee and Laura in The Morning:

And with Jane, The Manager from Barclays in Rugby:

Careful you don't drop it Mathew!

Even Laura got a bit excited at such a valuable piece of silver!

Boys eh?  Here's Richard from the Sales team getting a bit excited:

What a great experience - a priceless piece of silverware - and right here in Rugby.  We couldn't work out who was most impressed - little Mathew or Richard from Rugby FM's sales team.  Thanks to Barclays Bank in Rugby for arranging this special little treat for Mathew from Riverside Primary School - he went off to school with lots to tell his friends that morning - he met Lee and Laura, got to hold the Barclays Premiership Cup, got some free tickets to premiership matches and a NEW Rugby FM mug too!
What a day.........

Christmas Crackers!

with the Rugby Town Centre Company

ONE THOUSAND POUNDS FOR SPOTTING THE CRACKER IN RUGBY TOWN CENTRE!!!!!

The Cracker has been all over the town for the past few weeks as Julian Hotchkiss would tell you - he was the poor devil who had to move it every day.  So if you spotted a guy in a suit with a six foot cracker under his arm - that was him!  Its been a great competition with hundreds of entries from people all over Rugby and every day in the week before Christmas we drew out completed entry forms and gave away some great prizes donated by the shops in Rugby.  Julian says 'Rugby really has got it all - going around the shops hiding the Cracker has been great fun and shows just what a great range of high street names and speciality independent traders we have in Rugby!  I've done all my christmas shopping here - there's no reason to go anywhere else!'

So here's our BIG winner of the £1000, supported by the Rugby Town Centre Company:

On Christmas Eve, Sarah Batchelor was the lucky listener who walked a way with a cheque for a cool £1000 entering our Christmas Cracker Competition.  She filled in an entry form in one of the local shops in Rugby town centre.  Pictured: The Cracker in town and Sarah with her family collecting the cheque for £1000 from Rugby FM's Richard Simister.

Congratulations to Sarah and her family from all of us at Rugby FM - what a lovely family and a worth winner of another fantastic Rugby FM competition!

Special thanks to The Rugby Town Centre Company for this great Christmas Competition!
