Judges Comments: With a strong strategic plan and an impressive order book and future contracts, judges liked this entry. They also liked the fact that Lorax Complianceis bringing euros and dollars into the local economy.

Judges Comments: Judges admired the enormous risk that the owners of Swim Works had taken on in setting up this businesses, fulfilling their ambition and with exceptional results. Judges were also impressed that the owners and modernised and restored an old building sympathetically.

Judges Comments: Judges liked that this businesses was run from a previously unused area within it’s building and that it’s offering was unique. Business growth year on year was impressive and judges liked that local suppliers are used.

Judges Comments: Judges were taken aback by the nominations for Annette who always goes above and beyond to help others. Her hard work and care have touched and improved the lives of the young carers and their families.

Judges Comments: Judges agreed that Flight Lieutenant Roger Smith’s lifetime of service to the community was outstanding. For decades he has provided young people in the area with an invaluable experience that will last a lifetime, as well as instilling a strong set of values in Rugby’s younger generation.
